Linen is a resource-efficient and rapidly renewable raw material. Its cultivation requires significantly less mineral fertilizer and pesticides than cotton cultivation. These substances leach into our groundwater and thus damage the ecosystem. The plant also requires up to four times less water than, for example, organic cotton. Flax fibers are naturally resistant to dirt and have antibacterial properties.

Linen is particularly popular due to its unique structure and easy-care properties. Your curtains are hygienically washable up to 40°C (white 60°C) and require no ironing, unless you prefer a smooth, wrinkle-free look. Please note that linen can shrink up to 5% when washed and tumble dried.
You only need to iron them if you want a perfectly smooth fabric. Hanging them on a clothesline is perfectly sufficient, and the natural texture will develop on its own. The curtains dry very quickly, even without a dryer.
